Account & Authentication
How do I create an account?
Download the FaceSense app from the App Store or Google Play. Tap "Sign Up" and enter your email, password, and basic information. You can also sign up using Google or Apple Sign-In for faster registration.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" Enter your registered email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Scroll to bottom → Tap "Delete Account". Confirm your decision in the warning dialog. Note: This action is permanent and will delete all your data including bookings, purchases, and facial scans.
Bookings & Appointments
How do I book an appointment?
Browse practitioners or clinics → Select a service → Choose an available time slot → Confirm booking. You'll receive a confirmation email and in-app notification. Some bookings may require a deposit.
Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes. Go to your Bookings → Select the appointment → Tap "Cancel" or "Reschedule". Please note: Cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment may forfeit your deposit.
What if the practitioner cancels?
If a practitioner cancels, you will be notified and refunded in full, including any deposit.
Face Scan & AI Analysis
How does the AI face scan work?
Our AI analyzes your selfie to identify skin type, concerns (acne, dryness, fine lines), and provides personalized product recommendations. The scan takes about 30 seconds. Make sure you're in good lighting for best results.
Is my facial data stored?
By default, facial images are deleted immediately after analysis. If you opt-in to save your scan history, images are stored for up to 2 years (you can delete them anytime). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I share my scan results with practitioners?
Yes. During booking, you can choose to share scan results so practitioners can prepare personalized treatment recommendations.
Payments & Orders
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via our secure payment processor, Square. We also support Apple Pay and Google Pay.
How do refunds work?
Product refunds are processed within 14 days of purchase if unopened. Service cancellations more than 24 hours in advance receive full refunds. Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days.
Where can I view my order history?
Go to Profile → My Orders to view all your past purchases, including products and services. You can also download receipts and track shipments from this page.
Technical Issues
The app isn't loading. What should I do?
Try these steps: 1) Check your internet connection 2) Force close and restart the app 3) Update to the latest version 4) Clear app cache 5) Reinstall the app. If issues persist, contact support.
Push notifications aren't working
Check your device settings: Settings → FaceSense → Notifications → Ensure "Allow Notifications" is enabled. Also check Do Not Disturb settings.
Camera permissions not working
Go to device Settings → Privacy → Camera → Find FaceSense → Enable camera access. Restart the app after enabling permissions.
